That’s my name and we put it on the products we make here at Steve’s PaleoGoods.
We don’t do it because I’m an ego-maniac or because I’m in love with the sound of it. I don’t label everything in my house or my office as “Steve’s” like “Steve’s desk” or “Steve’s chair” or “Steve’s car.” (That would be really weird, right?)
But over ten years ago, when I started Steve’s PaleoGoods, I decided to put my name on the label because I’m proud of who we are and the mission we’re leading.
- I do it to the food we make because I believe in our products and I love what we make and how we make it.
- I do it because I want you to know that I stand behind everything we do here.
- I do it because my name is my promise.
But what exactly am I promising?
I’m promising that what you hold in your hand is:
- Real food made from real food
- Healthy and clean
- Great tasting
- Made in America
- Free of GMOs
- Without added sugar
And I’m guaranteeing that 15% of your purchase price goes to help underserved youth at Steve’s Clubs around the nation.
I’m promising that when you bite into a meat stick or you pour yourself a bowl of grain-free granola, you’re tasting something simple and good for you.
I want you to know that every time you open a box from us or you find our products on the shelf at Whole Foods, that there’s a guy named Steve standing with a bunch of hard-working adults and teens in Camden, New Jersey, and we’re trying to make the best food we can.
It’s not a glamorous job. It’s not the most exciting profession in the world. But it’s honest and true and real and it makes a difference.
And if you try something and you don’t like it? Let me know. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m Steve. This is my food. I’m proud of it and I hope you enjoy it.
