Almond Butter Cups

These easy Almond Butter Cups are an awesome Paleo treat to keep on hand for when a sweet tooth hits! Packed with healthy fats, these make a great pre or post workout snack.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • Pinch salt
  • ¾ cup almond butter

 

Directions:

  1. Whisk together all of the ingredients except for the almond butter. Fill a standard muffin tin with 16 muffin liners. Place about 2 tablespoons chocolate into each cup.
  2. Divide the almond butter between the cups then top with remaining chocolate.
  3. Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
