Lemon Turmeric Chicken Thighs

These Lemon Turmeric Chicken Thighs are an easy weeknight dinner that can be made in one pan with only 5 ingredients:

  1. Chicken thighs
  2. Shallot
  3. Lemon
  4. Garlic
  5. Honey

The other ingredients are oil and spices, things you already have on hand if you have a stocked pantry. Serve these sticky chicken thighs with a quick green salad or cauliflower rice for a complete meal!

Lemon Turmeric Chicken Thighs

Prep: 10 minutes   |   Cook: 45 minutes   | Total Time: 55 minutes   | Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large chicken thighs or 8 small (skin on – bone in)
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325° F.
  2. Heat the oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Place the chicken thighs skin side down and cook for 5-6 minutes until crisp and golden. Flip the chicken and add in the shallot and garlic, cooking a minute longer. Add in the lemon slices.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and transfer to over for 30-45 minutes until the chicken reached 165° F and is cooked through.
