Most people either under eat or over eat when it comes to proper nutrition. While three meals a day with snacks in between is the norm in our culture, I found that four paleo-friendly and zone-friendly meals a day yields the best results for achieving desired body composition, physical performance, good health and higher energy levels.
Paleo-friendly needs little explanation, but what do I mean by zone-friendly? Every meal and snack should be a balanced portion of protein, fats and carbohydrates. I’m not suggesting you weigh and measure every eating occasion, but it is important to pay attention to your macronutrients to avoid energy crashes.
